Pheroklip® CM

Target pest: Codling moth (Cydia pomonella
Crops:Apples, pears and nashi.

Pheroklip® CM is a novel pheromone mating disruption formulation for control of codling moth.

Pheroklip® CM (applied 1000 per hectare) has the same loading, release rates and field life as the competitive capillary equivalents, and operate on the same mating disruption principal.

Pheroklip® OFM

Target pest: Oriental fruit moth (Grapholita molesta).
Crops: Peach, nectarine, apricots, pears and apples.

Pheroklip® OFM is a product for peaches, nectarines, and other stone fruit where OFM is a pest. It is mainly used In the Goulburn Valley and Cobram where OFM pressure is high.

The release rate of Pheroklip® OFM dispensers is designed to match that of the standard Japanese dispenser.  Release rates are measured by weighing 20 individual dispensers to an accuracy of 0.1 milligrams at approximately weekly intervals for a period of a little over 6 months.

Pheroklip® Pole applicator — make your own

Apply Pheroklip® dispensers high in the tree using a pole applicator.
Why?

Because Pheroklip® CM competes with female moths calling to males — and female moths call from high in the tree. 75% of the dispensers should go high.
What is the advantage of pole applicators over motorized cherry pickers? Faster, cheaper to operate, no capital equipment needed, and less skilled labour required.

QM FAW attractant feeding stimulant

Images of Helicoverpa armigera feeding and killed by QM FAW

Many strong flying moths cannot be controlled using pheromone mating disruption technologies—they are simply too mobile for this approach to be effective.
Moths with this kind of behaviour, particularly the females, have a strong drive to find sugar for energy and development of their ovaries prior to mating and laying eggs. QM FAW attractant feeding stimulant takes advantage of the high mobility of these moths.
